Bby Wow Guy Green-Screen Guide
Make a dance overlay with chroma key and understand when an AI portrait recreation is the better fit.
What a green screen changes
A green-screen edit removes a solid background from an existing dancer clip, then places the dancer over a new image or video. The person and their original movement stay in the clip. For a version guided by your own face, use the AI generator instead.
Prepare the two layers
Obtain a dance clip you are allowed to edit and share. Place your own vertical background on the main timeline, then add the dancer as an overlay above it. Match the project to 9:16 if you are making a short-form portrait post.
Our preview is a full party scene, not a downloadable green-screen asset. This page does not claim to supply a cutout or grant rights to someone else’s footage.
Key the background and check the edges
If the source has a green background, select the editor’s chroma-key tool and sample that green. Increase the strength only until the backdrop disappears. Adjust edge and spill controls gently so hair, hands and clothing remain intact.
Play the whole clip. A single clean still frame can hide flickering edges during the bite or turn. Reposition the overlay so the dancer’s feet and gaze fit the new background.
Finish the edit
Trim both layers to the same length, add a soundtrack available under your platform’s music rules, and export. Template effects, resolution and free export options depend on the editor and your account.
If you want a portrait to guide the dancer rather than moving the existing dancer to a different background, return to the AI generator. It offers a fixed 10-second vertical video at 480p, 720p or 1080p.
